What was a typical 19th-century farmstead like, did they live in a village or on a single farmstead? Did farmers own their own place? What was the social order of the day and what customs.laws and traditions did people follow?  Hear more about the life of an 18th-century farmer in a talk that will highlight with pictures how they lived.
